Sheena's Firewalk in Memory of Eilidh

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm joining the Phoenix Santa Firewalk on Sunday in memory of Eilidh Neave.

Eilidh was a beautiful girl: funny, clever, friendly and kind beyond her years.  Eleanor loved Highland Dancing with her and she was a good friend to Darach.  Heartbreakingly for all those who knew her, she contracted meningitis whilst on holiday with her family and died at the young age of 8.

We all miss Eilidh terribly, the loss has not lessened.  I watch her family dig deep to carry on day by day, bravely putting one foot in front of the other.  So in her memory, I am raising money for Menangitis Now and Eilidh's Forever Fund by walking across hot coals, one step at a time.  As it's the Santa walk, I like to think it would raise a lovely smile from wee Eilidh if she was watching.

Meningitis Now is an organisation who help families such as the Neaves in the aftermath of illness and death from meningitis.
