Story
Sadly in 2019 we lost one of our own, Eilidh Neave, to meningitis. The Neave's are a massive part of our hockey club family at Inverleith and we want to continue supporting the tribute to Eilidh. On the 6th September we will enter 4 relay teams in the Edinburgh Marathon to run in Eilidh's memory. To show our love for Eilidh, to keep her name in conversations and to raise money for her fund for research into the meningitis strain that sadly took her life. We have a fundraising target of £2500 for this year. We also have a target of raising awareness of meningitis in her name. We want to continue the tribute to Eilidh. We ask that, if you can, please donate to our marathon runners via this page and share information we release about meningitis and Eilidh's story on your social media accounts! In addition to this we ask that people take on their own race for Eilidh challenge and walk, run, swim or cycle a distance and then donate the amount of km traveled in £ to this page.
