Story
In 2019, we tragically lost one of our Otters, the wonderful Eilidh Neave, to Meningitis when she was just 8 years old. Two years on, Eilidh’s fun-loving, vibrant personality could not be closer to the club’s heart. To celebrate Eilidh and raise funds for Meningitis Now, the Otters will be swimming a relay with 100 swimmers each swimming 100 metres on the 15th of August. Please donate below or join our swim at the Kinross pool on the 15th - it’s open to any swimmer, old and new - and help us celebrate the wonderful, fantastic Eilidh. Certificates for the Swimming Legends Have Arrived
18th August 2021Thank you all who took part. Never mind Phelps, Peaty or even Duncan Scott, you are one of the 107 Greatest Swimmers ever. And as a small thank you, I have got you all certificates printed. I will get these out to all at training or will track each of you down who while maybe are not a current Otter you are still a swimming legend and a huge thank you for helping us celebrate Eilidh. To the army of very of those who donated you have raised an incredible amount and a massive thank you.
What a cracking relay - 107 Legends
15th August 2021What an amazing day! 107 swimmers, swimming a combined 45,000 metres. You all were truly incredible and what a set of performances! Everyone of you swam way WAY beyond the target 100m. Doubling, trebling or just completely blitzing it. Every single swim has helped us raise an amazing amount of money and celebrate Eilidh. Thank you all so much.
The Swimmers are Rocking It
15th August 2021The swimmers are rocking it. We are half way through the day and team Eilidh have clocked up 22,425 metres so far. Huge thanks to those who have swum and are about to hit the water.
1 Sleep to Go!
14th August 2021OK Dokey. One sleep to go for the 100 x 100 swim. We are all set and everything is in place. Really looking forward to seeing everyone in person tomorrow and thanking each of you.
Remember to arrive beach ready and have a face mask for the building. You have raised an AMAZING amount so far and we have just passed the £2000 mark which is incredible. Please keep sharing on social media.

8th August 2021Quick update for everyone. We have 107 swimmers signed up so far for the swim. I have emailed out time slots to everyone this afternoon with details of how it will work on the day - all straight forward but please have a wee read. I have done my best with the scheduling to keep family and friend groups together in the pool session. One week to go and we are looking good.
